Sonaisali Serenader meets Rugby Star
International Rugby Star Jacob Rauluni serenaded with Malelili Nainoka. Male has been serenading at Sonaisali for 12 years. Guests are welcomed and farewelled by Male and his team of Serenaders. The Resort echoes with traditional Fijian songs, beautiful ballads and love songs during the day.

Food & Beverage Team with Rugby Star Jacob Rauluni
The Food and Beverage Team received a visit to the Tale Bar from Rugby Star, Jacob Rauluni, Fijian International and QLD Reds. Jacob shared some of his Rugby stories with the team and Jacob was appreciative of his Sonaisali Tee Shirt and Cap gifted to him from Sonaisali Director of Sales,
Patrice Belle.

Korovutu Village Trip
Resort guest Kathy Tumasian from California visited Korovutu Village to distribute school stationery and gifts. Kathy and her husband Steve contributed 3 large bags of much needed supplies to the children who were most grateful. The Resort has a strong commitment to the Community and Guests wishing to participate is very welcome. We thank Kathy & Steve for their kindness and generosity to the Fijian people.

Sanjit Kumar

Sanjit was nominted by peers for this award for his honest and hard working nature. Sanjit is a reliable and trustworthy person and takes extreme pride in his work. Sanjit joined the team at Sonaisali back in February 2002 and was recently promoted from Groundsman to his current position of Nursery Attendant.

Viliame is the Bargeman at Sonaisali, a position he has held since Sept 2000. Viliame was nomiated for the Employee of the Month Award for his dedication to his duties, his quick thinking and instant response time to any issue or job that requires his assistance.

Kara was nominated by her work colleagues for the Employee of the Month award for her loyalty and dedication to her duties. Kara is one of the hard working Housekeeping team and has been with Sonaisali since March 1994! Kara is well liked and respected by all the staff and management at Sonaisali, not only for her hard work but her beautiful big smile and friendly manner.

Mary was nominated for the Employee of the Month by her colleagues for recognition of her dedication to her duties. Mary often works overtime to ensure that our clients needs are meet and goes the extra mile in covering for any colleagues when we are short staffed. Mary has only been with the resort a few months, however her outstanding work ethic has shown through and she is a popular and respected member of staff.

Movin was nominated for this award by his work colleagues and Senior Management for the constant amazing food he produces for the resorts Fine Dining Restaurant - Plantation, and for his ability to continue to provide such a high level of exellence under extreme pressure. Movin works many additional hours without complaint, and his hard work and dedication have not only earned his this award, but he has recently been promoted to Junior Sous Chef. Well done Movin!
